Phanom Yeerum (Thai: พนม ยี รัมย์, Khmer: ចា ភ ្ ំ យី រុ ាំ, Province of Surin , 5 of February of 1976 ), known as Tony Jaa , is a performer , choreographer action scenes and martial artist Thai known for movies martial arts as Ong-Bak: The Muay Thai Warrior (2003) and Thai Dragon / El Protector (2005), as well as their sequels.
He is an expert in the handling of swords and highly trained in gymnastics and in arts such as Wushu , taekwondo , Muay Thai and Muay Boran . From the age of twelve, the actor had already dreamed of becoming the new Jackie Chan . Once, after seeing him in a movie, she knew deep down inside that she wanted to be like him. He began practicing martial arts whenever he had free time. At the precise moment that he began to study high school, he saw something that changed his life forever. It was an action film with the title Born to Fightit was the first version, made in 1984. The production was directed by and starring Panna Rittikrai . Now realizing that there were real opportunities for action actors in ThailandTony began to study with even greater energy and enthusiasm, sometimes going so far as to skip meals in order to keep practicing longer. After finishing elementary school in high school, Tony decided to become an actor without hesitation. He asked his father to allow him to remain under the watchful eye of Panna Rittikrai, who was filming in neighboring Kon Kaen province. The very next day, at the Hotel Kan Inn, Tony managed to meet his idol Panna. He suggested that she focus on finishing her studies, although if she wanted to, she could join him for training sessions during the middle and final breaks. Over the next three years, Tony gained a lot of experience with Panna as she worked on locations. He started out as the worthy of the cafes, working his way up by helping to move the Dolly's equipment and guides. Tony still found time, in the middle of his duties, to focus on martial arts training.
